"Hella Shitty Racing Team" Set to Screen at 2018 Indy Film Fest

Ramin Talaie's 5-minute short film Hella Shitty Racing Team is screening in competition during the 2018 Indy Film Fest taking place from April 26 - May 6, 2018 at Newfields in Indianapolis. The film follows a group of hackers, including multiple employees of Mozilla, who turn their attention to racing and form the Hella Shitty Racing Team to compete in a very unique, not quite competitive racing event called 24 Hours of Lemons at Sonoma Raceway in Northern California.

The film will screen as part of two blocks, Shorts 2: Car Crazy and The Eight with screenings on:

  • Tuesday, May 1st at 7pm in Indy Film Salon, a new screening venue Indy Film Fest is using this year; it is still housed within Newfields!
  • Tuesday, May 1st at 9pm in The Toby
  • Thursday, May 3rd at 7pm in DeBoest Lecture Hall
  • Saturday, May 5th at 6:15pm inside The Toby

Hella Shitty Racing Team is a breezy but entertaining short film that should please racing fans and anyone with an interest in unique little sports stories. If you follow Hella Shitty at all, you'll also know that after seven years of racing the team recently had their first racing victory. The film? It's a winner, too!
