Okay, sue me. I'm a sucker for cute kids. Sadie Zimet is adorable here as a young girl who takes daring action when a birthday dinner brings her face-to-face with the adult world. Simple and relaxed, "Sadie Turns Seven" has just the right degree of natural charm and Tinkham brings out just the perfect blend of cuteness and little girl daring from Zimet. "Sadie Turns Seven" was easily one of Lake County's more underrated short films.
